Men's Breakfast

The Men’s Breakfast is held on the 3rd Saturday every month at the church and is an opportunity for the men of the church to meet up for a nice breakfast. The breakfast begins at 9.15am in the back hall of The Salvation Army building (which can be accessed via Wellington Street).

Tea, Coffee & Fresh Orange Juice are available throughout, with a sausage & egg baguette provided halfway through. We usually finish up around 10.30am, however you’re welcome to come and go as you please.

The Men’s Breakfast is an open invite to any men who would like to come along, whether you come to the Salvation Army church or not. The breakfasts are a great way to get to know other men who are also on the journey of Christianity – and the egg & sausage baguette’s go down a treat!

The Men’s Breakfast usually includes watching a short DVD before allowing some time for discussion and prayer. Previous DVD series that have been watched throughout the Men’s Breakfasts include Rob Bell’s Nooma Series with challenging and informative messages centered around Christianity, as well as the testimonial and story of Ian McCormack – the man who encountered God when his life seemed at it’s end as a result of a deadly sting from a Box Jellyfish.

We look forward to seeing you, and if we’ve not seen you at one of the breakfast’s before – then the baguette is on the house!
