£7,833.14p raised for the Annual Appeal 2011 in and around Cheltenham! (Posted 14th November 2011)
Despite the general economic circumstances, the generosity of the people in and around Cheltenham has still enabled us to raise a total of £7,833.14p for the Salvation Army Annual Appeal of 2011.
The Salvation Army Annual Appeal exists to offer ongoing shelter, companionship and life-changing support to homeless people, older isolated people and families struggling in poverty.
Despite the general economic circumstances, the generosity of the people in and around Cheltenham has still enabled us to raise a total of £7,833.14p for the Salvation Army Annual Appeal of 2011. There was just one Standing Day - at the Beer Festival - but the Summer Fair at Lower Slaughter was a great success this year. We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those of you who gave generously and a sincere thank you to all of you who helped in any way to enable the Collection Fortnight to flow with minimal fuss, despite the weather!
